Bareback, Condoms, STDs & HIV in Philippines / SE Asia

I have been living in South East Asia for around 4 years now and had lots of unprotected sex in that time. When I first moved here I was living in Cambodia and always wearing condoms with working girls.

Then as time went on it was ‘well I don’t see her working much so I will try without.’ Or ‘she is really hot I’ll make an exception.’

Eventually I pretty much forgot condoms even existed. I really don’t care about growing to be 70 years old so if I die I die. My real concern would be not spreading something to others.

Canker Explosion

A few months into Cambodia I started to get canker sores. I had never got them before and am sure I contracted them there. It was just a once every 6ish month thing.

Then earlier this year the cankers started popping up constantly. Once one went down another came in somewhere else.

I was a bit worried this might be a sign of a weakening immune system… I couldn’t really come up for any other explanation. So I headed to get an HIV test so I would know…….

I was clean. I should have been clean. HIV is not something that is easy to get from vaginal sex. HIV passes through the blood so the main ways people get it are by sharing needles, blood transfusions, or anal sex (even though that is still a small likelihood.)

The Math on HIV

Girls are slightly more likely to get HIV through sex then guys, but even for girls it’s a small percent. A guy is only going to get HIV something like 1 out of every 2500 times they have vaginal sex with an infected girl.

That last part is pretty key also….. first you have to have the long shot that the girl even has it, then you have to have the long shot that you get it.

Long shots can happen, but they really aren’t anything you need to be worried about. You have a 1 in 32 chance of dying in an accident in your lifetime…… are you never going to get in a car again?

You have a 1 in 1064 chance of an accidental drowning in your lifetime. Probably should never go swimming again just in case.

You have a 1 in 5000 chance of being struck by lightning in your lifetime. Better never leave your home again….. or wear a rubber hat if you do.

Being scared of long shots is just silly. If it happens it happens and you were unlucky. At least you got to live a little while you were here.

Other STD Risks

Of course condoms aren’t only there to stop HIV, but they do seem to be what most people focuses on. Condoms will make it extremely unlikely that the girl gets pregnant which is great. I prefer a different method of birth control: blowjobs :).

Condoms also will help with things like Chlamydia, Gonorrhea and UTI’s. Again if I am worried about the ‘dirtyness’ of a girl I will just go for a bj instead of using a rubber.

All 3 of those can be easily treated with over the counter pills you can find at any pharmacy (1g single dose of Zithromax). Just get on the meds as quick as possible and they shouldn’t get to bad. Not a pleasant experience, but not that bad either.

Other things like herpes, warts and molluscum will be somewhat less likely to get without a condom, but only about 50% depending on where the bumps are.

Just run your hand all over that region before you enter, and if you feel anything out of place turn the lights on and take a look. If you see a bump of any kind say sorry (and beg for a bj to avoid blueballs.)

Don’t Do Drugs / Anal With Dudes

If you really want to limit your chances of getting HIV just don’t ever share any needles. If you go to a doctor that is going to need to use one make it a top quality doctor that will definitely have new clean needles.

Then try to your keep banging ladyboys up the ass activities to an absolute minimum :D.

Life is too short to spend it fucking rubber.

Safe Sex in Philippines vs Thailand

As I travel around to different places it is interesting to see how the girls think about sex. The Philippines is a very Catholic country and for the vast majority of girls I have been with condoms are totally optional.

I can remember a few sticklers in Angeles City that made me wear no matter what, but other then that most girls either don’t bring them up, or they say you don’t need to wear after the slightest bit of resistance.

There was one super cute spinner  I met on Pinalove who made me ask (beg) many times to not wear one when I first got to PI many years ago. When a girl is so insistent on making you wear a condom you know she always does with other guys….. and it makes you want to not wear one that much more.

I eventually was able to break her down and get her to not make me wear one. I had been recently tested in Cambodia before and worn a condom with every girl since. I knew I was clean and finally my begging paid off.

It still was one of the best days of my life. I generally cum really quick, but for some reason I was able to have this hot 19 year old spinner Pinay ride me for over 30 minutes both rounds before I finished.

But most girls in the Philippines don’t care about condoms.

Many will ask you to pull out, but most pretend that STD’s don’t even exist. It is great for me as I will roll that 1 in 2,000 risk of getting HIV if the girl is infected dice every time. Since I don’t drink it is easy for me to pull out in time, but not sure they would be trusting the lot of you that are reading this :p.

More Condom Use in Thailand

Damn near every girl in Thailand brought up condoms, and far to many brought them up for blowjobs. In Pattaya a few asked right before they gave me a bj and when I said no they said OK, but still surprised they asked.

There was this one cute freelancer on Beach Road who had some 35ish year old lady watching over her and translating for her. Older lady wanted to argue with me how no condom for bj was easy for girl to get HIV. Sigh.

Then in Bangkok I went to a few massage shops and they always tried to get me to put one on. The first lady started off really insistent but once I started to put my pants back on she said OK.

Another one wouldn’t do it and said even if I would have given her 10k baht she wouldn’t do. And I am glad she didn’t because if she had I wouldn’t have had a great BJ from a younger cuter girl at Som’s Haven BJ bar later that night.

Thailand does have the Catholic culture of the Philippines and in the 70s they had a big television advert campaign about safe sex, pioneered by ‘Mr Condom‘. In Thailand they will probably try to make you wear one, in the Philippines it is basically all on whether you want to or not.

You can still talk them into it in the second date though, for example jspill sent me this Line chat with a ThaiCupid girl who asked for a condom the first time. Once they see you as more of a long term guy bareback is fine, they prefer it.

My ‘Safe Sex’ Strategy Failed Me For the 1st Time

As I have mentioned quite a few times in here my strategy for avoiding STDs is to get blowjobs with hookers and have sex with non hookers. Clearly this isn’t a fail safe strategy, but it works pretty well for me.

I started going with this strat when I was getting lots of UTIs when banging hookers on Luzon (Angeles or Manila) and got sick of taking the pills. For over 2 years I have done this and never got an STD from a blowjob. I have got some UTI’s from non hookers, but not many, and only 1 on Cebu in over 100 bangs.

But I finally got my first UTI from a blowjob when I was in Pattaya. I am pretty sure I got it at one of the ‘massage’ shops on Soi Chaiyapoon. The next morning I woke up with some discomfort, it went away, and a few weeks later in BKK it was back. Almost certain it was from that day.

If you are in a major sex tourism destination like Pattaya, Angeles, Bangkok, or really anywhere where there is a major P4P scene you should probably be wrapping up if you want to have sex with hookers. Me and two other guys I know have still picked up minor STDs like molluscum even with a condom on.

Don’t be a fool wrap your tool, is some sound advice that we all should listen too. There’s too much that can go wrong going bareback including the worst thing getting some poor girl pregnant who can barely support herself.

As far as pregnancy goes, ‘some authors suggest that actual effectiveness of the withdrawal method could be similar to effectiveness of condoms’ – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coitus_interruptus. I don’t get drunk and I find it really easy to pull out in time, so I think for me the effectiveness rate is even higher. Plus I don’t feel any temptation to bust inside, I much prefer pulling out well ahead of time and jizzing on their face/tits.

I explained that to a Thaifriendly girl once, and how Thai condoms have broken for me or come off inside girls, cos they’re too small. Wasn’t lying either, it’s happened a bunch of times. So all in all I think for me the withdrawal method is probably better in Thailand, unless I buy large size condoms off Amazon. But even then, I’ve had large size condoms slip off.

Her reply… ok wear a condom AND pull out! 😀 After a few times of me doing that though she finally caved in

Another girl finally agreed after I translated that Wikipedia sentence into Thai and explained the Thai condom issues, but made me go for a HIV test first, 300 baht at the Thai Red Cross clinic. Got herself tested too. Both passed, but I only got to bareback her a couple times before she found another girl’s hair straightener in my room. ‘YOU HAVE OTHER GIRL!!’ and it was back to condoms.

ya i think its drunk guys and assholes that ruin the withdrawal thing for the rest of us, used it effectively for years

For me though I love busting it inside (its more natural so no surprise we evolved to find it more pleasurable) so I always wrap up. Its when you combine both the std and pregnancy risk that it becomes a no brainier. I sleep like a baby knowing I wrapped up, paranoia’s a bitch.

    “1g single dose of Zithromax”

In some cases this is no longer true. There are antibiotic resistant strains going around that require longer treatment with stronger antibiotics. Some people can’t get rid of their infection at all. Mycoplasma, for example, is very difficult to treat and in some cases the patient is stuck with it for life. Imagine having a drippy dick for the rest of your life.

  6. Anonymous says:

I had an antibiotic resistant strain of gonorrhea that was so bad that I seriously considered wearing adult diapers to deal with the drip. UTIs in Asia are no joke. Don’t fuck around.

I thought for a while I had one as well, the drip disappeared but the pain in the balls stayed for almost a year. I went to visit a few doctors and they said it’s just psychological, basically it’s in my brain, not in my dick.

They had me tested and all and it came back negative each time, but I could swear sometimes I could just feel the pain still roaming around in my balls. Nowdays, it’s gone though.

Not sure how 100% true these statistics are, but estimates in Thailand are 2%-7% of female hookers ( overall hooker population ) is HIV positive based on randomized sentinel surveillance by the thai gov and AIDS groups.

There is also research that suggests the strain of HIV in Thailand ( Subtype E ) is much more transmissible via heterosexual vaginal sex ( female to male transmission ). This could be a myth based on fraudulent research but who knows.

The Philippines however seems to be mostly subtype B ( same type in USA ) in which the 1-1000 odds are calculated from ( almost all HIV odds are based on western countries like USA w/ subtype B being predominant. )

The overall HIV prevalence in the Philippines is the lowest in SE Asia as well. Interesting as they hardly use condom there.

Dante, how many girls in the various countries do you think you have bareback fucked so far?

I wonder if you have full blown AIDS yet?

        Honest question,
I dislike condoms, I barely get any sensation no matter how thin it is and I could never cum while wearing one. This really put a damper on my 1st mongering trip ever to the DR in 2015 and being a newbie (and due to poor planning on my part) I didn’t get my money’s worth; some of the women were attractive but I didn’t enjoy it to the max due to wearing a condom for every encounter which ended with them jerking me off nonchalantly (BB was out of the question). I’m currently planning a trip to Thailand in Dec 2017 or early 2018 and I intend to go BB for most/all of hookups.

        My questions are:
        1. Do the bar girls/gogos charge extra for bareback and creampie?
        2. If so how much and does this have to be negotiated before hand or do they let it happen “in the heat of the moment”
        3. Money is not an issue for me so my plan of action is to go on round of PrEp before departing, land in Thailand, Negotiate/pick girls (long time), visit an STD clinic with her for an HIV test on way to hotel, bang and empty my load, provide morning after pills to her. Wash/rinse and repeat over 12 – 14 days.

I’m aware of the risks and it looks like many mongers on this site have no issue going BB and is becoming less taboo in the monger community. I’ve noticed on SEA porn sites like creampiethais.com and tuktuk patrol, the male performers always go bareback with the girls usually ending with a creampie and those guys have been doing that for years with no issues (yet).

Anything is possible if you ask enough girls but most will be lazy to go get a HIV test with you, I’d just get one myself show them the certificate and then not bother with theirs. They already get tested every now and then and female to male transmission is very rare. There are portable HIV test kits you can order online though, takes 5 mins at home, that’s another option.

Some won’t want to take the morning after pill it’s rough on their body but you could find one already on birth control if you look around enough. For your plans Pattaya may be the best option, they’ve heard everything over there. BKK girls will be more likely to get freaked out and have other customers they can just choose rather than you

No they don’t charge more IME especially if you’re otherwise a nice customer and imply that you’re going to be their customer several times

Those porn site guys take PrEp too I’d imagine.

        • kick2dante kick2dante says:

i wouldnt bet on finding that every day but maybe 2 – 3 girls over the 14 days

trying to take them to an std clinic before your hotel right off the bat is a bad idea. start with short time and go from there

  12. Bill says:

Your chance of catching hiv is drastically increaded if a person is in the viral stage of the disease ..these stats dont apply my friend educate yourself properly

  13. Dany-Sven says:

As already mentioned as a man (with GG) or top (with ladyboys) getting HIV is extremely unlikely and so is herpes for those of you being successfully vaccinated. The HIV is concentrated particularly in blood and sperm and it needs an ‘entrance’ (wound or scratch on the glans, even when it’s very small) on the receiver side. The rest, such as molluscs or GO are unlikely too when you check the lady(-boy) thoroughly in advance, something I do always, of course discretely. Interestingly nobody worries about one of the most common and certainly the most contagious STD – Syphilis. Transmission of spirochetes to catch Syphilis , however, happens easily(!) during stage 1 (painless open canker in mouth, vagina or rectum) and 2 (round spots, not itching, on inner forearms (!), face and torso. If infected the test turn positive ca. 3 weeks after the encounter (the titer tells how active), and if positive there will remain a ‘serologic scar’ for the rest of your life, means a titer not less than 1:2.. Fortunately it’s easily curable, even yet again with either 1 – 3-times i.m. Penicillin (surprisingly no resistance since decades) or oral 2 g azithromycin once. The great danger of S is, that unalert/indolent guys may overlook it, because the canker disappears after some weeks and so do the spots. After years of ‘silence’ you may (not must) slip into S3 with paralysis, dementia and death in the worst case. In the middle ages S used to be one of the No. 1 death causes. Those of you who check their potential partner for the night look for the signs described above and when positive, run away fast. Have fun!
